Pixiehollow.go.com: Create a Magical Experience for Your Child with Disney Fairies
Disney has created a fairy tale land masterpiece with Pixie Hollow. Parents have access to printable materials to get their little ones excited about the experience and make the entrance into Pixie Hollow one their child will remember.
For starters, parents can download an Arrival Day kit (a PDF file) that contains printables related to a child’s arrival in Pixie Hollow. In Disney’s words, “Arrival Day…is when Never Land welcomes a brand-new Fairy to Pixie Hollow.” This larger than life, magical theme is carried throughout the materials.
First, parents are provided three printable sheets to be used as door decorations. Assembled together, they read “Fly with You,” and all three sheets are adorned with flowers, Disney fairies, and pixie dust.
Second, parents can print out a recipe for Neverberry Punch. According to the recipe card, “a true neverberry (grown only in Pixie Hollow) has the perfect tart to sweet ratio.” The instructions indicate that only residents of Pixie Hollow know the true taste of a neverberry, so the household’s resident fairy must taste the punch to determine whether it’s sweet or tart enough. Sweetness or tartness must be adjusted until the punch earns the fairy’s approval.
The third Pixie Hollow printable is a recipe for Fairy Toast. This is one of the printables for the sweetest reason – because fairies smell like cinnamon to humans. The toast must be served by cutting a single piece of toast in half diagonally and flipping the pieces over so the crusts are touching and the cut edges are facing outward. The toast will look like fairy wings on the child’s plate!
Finally, parents can print a congratulations card as a way to show their child how proud they are of the child’s fairy creation.
Other Features on Pixiehollow.go.com: More Free Disney Printables
The Pixie Hollow website offers parents two other free Disney printables:
- Decorations. Five sheets that read “Happy 2009” when assembled together. Disney suggests decorating a child’s room or someplace special to them and surprising your little one with the “pixie-licious” decorations.
- Recipe for Sweet Tortilla Snowflakes. Easy-to-create, unique winter snacks for kids who are old enough to handle a pair of scissors. There are only three ingredients – tortillas, confectioners’ sugar, and oil for baking.
