In Addition to Printable Coloring Sheets – Recite a Bible Verse for Easter Sunday

In order to inject a religious theme into Easter activities, parents can introduce the concept of learning a Bible verse as it relates to Easter. The book of Luke, in the New International Version of the Bible, contains a verse that kids may enjoy learning. It comes from Jesus after he appears to the disciples, in which he tries to explain the Scripture and make the disciples understand why he was crucified, then brought back from the grave.

Luke 24:46-47. “This is what is written: The Christ will suffer and rise from the dead on the third day, and repentance and forgiveness of sins will be preached in his name to all nations, beginning at Jerusalem.”
